August Public Realm Committee meeting is canceled
FYI – there will be no Public Realm Committee meeting in August. The committee meets the third Tuesday of the month from 5 to 6:30 p.m. The next meeting will be on Sept. 18, 2018, in Conference Room B, skyway level, 180 East 5th.
Development Review Committee Meeting Aug. 14
The committee will meet from 8 to 9:30 a.m. in Conference Room B, 180 East 5th Street. Agenda items include:
- Info about the Regions Hospital Birth Center project
- Combined plat for Cleveland Circle to create 3 lots and dedicate right of way: City of St Paul staff report on Cleveland Circle
Organizational / Orientation Meeting – July 31, 5:30 – 7 p.m.
The CapitolRiver Council Board of Directors will meet on Tuesday, July 31, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., in Conference Room B, 180 East 5th Street. This meeting is open to the public, and it will include a presentation by four University of Minnesota students who are completing their Master of Public Affairs degrees. The board members will also elect officers and select a regular monthly meeting date and time. Please see the following additional information about this meeting:

On February 12, 2018, a Community Conversation on Homelessness took place at Union Depot, co-sponsored by City Councilmembers Rebecca Noecker and Jane Prince, Ramsey County Commissioner Rafael Ortega, and CapitolRiver Council. The event featured presentations and small group discussions where many questions were asked, concerns were expressed, and suggestions were made. The CapitolRiver Council is continuing to follow up on these important discussions.
