City Wide Cleanup Events – Starting May 17th

This year there are only six citywide cleanup events throughout St. Paul.  This is being done in an attempt to make it cheaper and easier for YOU to recycle, reuse and dispose of things you no longer want.

The first event will be Saturday May 17th, near the corner of Pleasant Avenue & Victoria Street below the Linwood Park.  It is open to all St. Paul residents and will operate from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

As always, volunteers LIKE YOU are needed to guide participants through the process and help unloading when necessary. Shifts are only 3.5 hours long and include both a free lunch and free disposal of one load of materials (minimum $20 value!).  Shifts are: 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. and/or 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Duties:

  • Help residents with simple sorting of materials into dumpsters.
