Proposed Bylaws for CapitolRiver Council

Proposed Bylaws for CapitolRiver Council Annual Meeting:

Changes to the bylaws can only be approved by General Members at the Annual Meeting or at a special meeting called for this purpose. General Members are either:

  • Residents of District 17, or people who own property or businesses in District 17 who have attended at least one CapitolRiver Council meeting in the last 12 months; or
  • People who work in District 17, but are not District 17 residents, who have attended at least 3 CapitolRiver Council meetings in the past 12 months.

Update — the Annual Meeting will be at 5 p.m. on July 19, 2017, at 180 East 5th Street, in the Jerome Hill Theater.

The CRC Board has reviewed and discussed the bylaws and approved the following draft to be presented to General Members for consideration at that Annual Meeting:
