Committee Purpose Statement

The Downtown Life Committee works to make St. Paul the most livable downtown in America by:

    • Creating safety

    • Building community

    • Advocating for necessary amenities, and

    • Encouraging social connections and events

Downtown Life Goals for 2008

Building Community

1. Connect with existing events to help coordinate and promote and have CRC presence
1. Work with SPAH to make sure Music in Mears happens successfully and help as we can, including continuing fiscal agent agreement
2. Outreach Bags
3. Assist with Block Clubs
4. First Friday
1. Continue holding 1x/month and rotating
2. Achieve at least 50 attendees per event
3. Obtain business partners
5. National Night Out with a crime prevention build-up
